I absolutely loved them when I opened the box, they were sparkly and slinky. We went to Hawaii for a wedding and I wore them to the semi-formal welcome party. I have long hair but they were still very visible and I have to admit I like the way they tinkled against my neck when I shook my head. My husband said they looked fabulous, but he's biased. More importantly, I got two compliments that night about them!
If you've never worn threaded earrings before (I hadn't), it just takes a little bit of extra caution putting them on. They feel wonderfully sexy!
